Abortion: What WOULD Jesus Do?

This silly story left me wondering . . . what WOULD Jesus do about abortion?

Christ Kills Two, Injures Seven In Abortion-Clinic Attack

The Onion

Christ Kills Two, Injures Seven In Abortion-Clinic Attack

HUNTSVILLE, AL-Jesus Christ, son of God and noted pro-life activist, killed two and critically wounded seven others when He opened fire in the waiting room of a Huntsville abortion clinic Tuesday.

The answer's not in The Onion. It's in The Bible, and it's probably not what you expect me to say.

There's a little song we all know. It goes, "Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world."

If Jesus, as this Feelgooder tune claims, truly loves all the children of the world, why does He allow billions of them to be born with no chance of Salvation?

"What's that?" you ask. "No, no, everyone has an equal chance at Salvation. The vast majority of people just choose Hell instead of Jesus."

Let's investigate that, shall we?

Two classes of little children are, according to the Bible, condemned to eternal torture in the Pit of Hell by virtue of being born: Those who do not choose Jesus, and those who are illegitimate. Loopholes exist for some who fail to choose Jesus, but never for a bastard.

Deuteronomy 23:2

A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

I don't see any ambiguity here. Neither a bastard, nor his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc., to the tenth generation, may enter into the Lord's congregation. If they can't enter the congregation, how can they be Saved?

They can't.

Is there any loophole? Well, the Bible indicates that those "without understanding" aren't subject to the Law. That includes the mentally retarded, young children, and . . . the unborn.

What would Jesus do? Would Jesus allow an illegitimate child to be born, knowing that it would be condemned to an eternity in Hellfire because of its parentage? Or would Jesus abort that little fetus, giving it an effective "Get into Heaven Free" card?

I'd like to think He'd choose the compassionate option.

"But wait," you cry. "That's KILLING! God says THOU SHALT NOT KILL!"

Is it killing? Let's investigate. Does God consider the unborn to be people?

No.

Exodus 21:22-25 tells us, quite clearly, that an unborn embryo is not a person:

22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
24 Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

Well, there's punishment . . . a fine . . . but what about if he kills a man? Exodus 21:12 answers that:

12 He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death.

Clearly, God does not consider the unborn to be people. Therefore, the Bible does not condemn abortion; in fact, it seems clear that this would be the alternative preferred to condemning your illegitimate child to an eternity of torture for your misdeeds!

Do you still doubt God's Plan? If so, consider that 20% -- one of every five -- pregnancies fails. In most cases, the fertilized egg -- according to the antiChristian "Right to Life" crowd, a living person -- fails to implant, and the mother doesn't even know she was pregnant. Many more fail shortly after implantation. Look it up, if you doubt my veracity. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Back? Good. Did you look up how many millions of known miscarriages there are each year? Where the expectant mother actually knows that she's pregnant? Is God murdering all these children? Or are they not children at all, until they have taken the breath of life? (See Genesis 2:7; Adam was not "a living soul" until God breathed the "breath of life" through his nostrils!

In Christ's name, if you are pregnant and will not be married in time to give the child a legitimate birth, show some Christian compassion and abort the unwanted embryo, that it not suffer God's unending wrath for your failure to exercise a little self-restraint!!

Here Comes Satan Cottontail, Hopping Down the Demon Trail

Chocolate bunnies and colored eggs. Satan's Communion, every Easter Sunday! Will you and your children be participating in demonic rituals celebrating Molech and Baal, or will you turn your eyes to God this year?

Easter. For many, it conjures images of a basket-toting rabbit bearing chocolate bunnies. The White House hosts an Easter Egg hunt, as do many churches. What's wrong with that? It's a celebration of spring, and fertility, and . . . Yes, fertility. I'll bet you didn't know Jesus was a fertility god, did you?

What's that you say? He's not?

Then why are you worshipping rabbits -- an unclean animal, consumption of which is abomination to God -- and hunting for colored eggs on the celebration of His Resurrection?

Catholics, that's why!

Huh?

Yes, Catholics. The inheritors of the Babylonian religion, who have perverted every aspect of Christianity with the ways of Nimrod and Semiramis (Ishtar)!

Satan has found a very clever way of perverting Christianity . . . He used the Catholic cult to inject his own rituals -- those directed at any number of false gods, and even a false Savior -- into Christian worship! Think about it . . . Whenever you idolize the Easter bunny, or trade eggs, or even fast at Lent, you are worshipping Satan!

An abbreviated history:

In the early days of Christianity, Christians observed the Passover. In fact, there is no reference to an annual celebration of Jesus' resurrection in the Bible, but instead the continuing celebration of Passover! So where did Easter come from? And when?

Well, until the third century A.D., Passover was celebrated. As the Church became dominated by Gentiles, they desired not to celebrate with the Jews. So, the designation of a particular single-day holiday became more important. In the early fourth century (First Council of Nicea, in 325 A.D.), it was more firmly established that a single-Sunday celebration would be held, dismissing the Passover commanded in the Bible entirely!

Indeed, the Catholic cult took one of many steps on its path of putting the traditions of men above the commandments of God. How many Christian churches do you see celebrating Passover? Not yours, eh? Yet the Bible commands it!

It's not hard to see that, once this step was taken, Catholics rapidly slid down a slippery slope toward worship of fertility goddesses and false messiahs!

A Tale of Two Wascally Wabbits

There are two sets of stories surrounding the origin of the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs. Neither has anything to do with the Resurrection of Jesus, and each stems from hatred of God and the worship of false goddesses!

The more commonly-believed version, distributed by neo-pagans everywhere, The Second (or Later) Wabbit:

It is believed that the Anglo-Saxon people worshipped a fertility goddess named Eostre or Ostara. This goddess had as her symbol the rabbit (after all, they reproduce like rabbits . . . appropriate symbol for a fertility goddess!) and the egg (new life, birds come from eggs). Does the name sound familiar?

The etymology of the name is traced to Bede the Venerable, a Catholic historian.

The English and German names, "Easter" and "Ostern," are not etymologically derived from Pesach [Passover] and according to the 8th century Christian monk and historian Bede are instead related to ancient name for the Anglo Saxon goddess, Eostre, who was celebrated during Eosturmonath, equivalent to April/Aprilis. Bede wrote in Latin:

"Eosturmonath, qui nunc paschalis mensis interpretatur, quondam a dea illorum quae Eostre vocabatur et cui in illo festa celebrabant nomen habuit."

Translated: "Eosturmonath, which is now interpreted as the paschal month, was formerly named after the goddess Eostre, and has given its name to the festival."

When the Catholics (under the Holy Roman Empire) began conquering assorted northern peoples and converting them to their already-polluted mutilation of Christianity, they decided that encouraging the heathens to join up and buy in to their cult was more important than teaching Christ's Truth. So, Pope Gregory I suggested to missionaries that they allow the heathens to retain and incorporate their traditions!

English historian Bede's Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum ("Ecclesiastic History of the English People") contains a letter from Pope Gregory I to Saint Mellitus, who was then on his way to England to conduct missionary work among the pagan Anglo-Saxons. Pope Gregory suggested that converting heathens would go easier if they were allowed to retain the outward forms of their traditional pagan practices and traditions, while recasting those traditions spiritually towards the Christian God instead of to their pagan "devils": "to the end that, whilst some gratifications are
outwardly permitted them, they may the more easily consent to the inward consolations of the grace of God
".

The full text of the letter can be found here. Note: This same reference was removed from WikiPedia's article on Easter within the last 24 hours; following this vandalism (presumably by Satanic Bunnyists or Catholics), WikiPedia has frozen edits to the article until April 12.

The message of Gregory? Gain their obedience to the Catholic Cult, regardless of how watered-down or damaged the message of Jesus becomes in the process! Let the traditions of men take precedence over the commandments of God!

What has God to say about that idea?

As Jesus, He spoke to the Pharisees, but it seems also to the Catholic Cult:

Matthew 15: 7-9
7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Gregory I was Pope from 590 til his death in 604. As you recall from above (First Council of Nicea, 325), he was following long-standing Catholic Cult tradition of incorporating pagan "traditions of men" and ignoring the commandments of God whenver it was expedient.

The First (or Earlier) Wabbit:

The other, less-followed origin of The Bunny of Satan can be found in the Babylonian religion founded by Nimrod and his wife, Semiramis (also called Ishtar). The similarity of the names (Easter and Ishtar) is largely considered a false etymology, so we won't concern ourselves with that. What matters more is the entire basis of the celebration!

Nimrod? Isn't that just a name we call silly people?

It's also the name of a man of great evil. He is mentioned in the book of Genesis:

Nimrod, son of Cush, son of Ham, son of Noah.

Genesis 10: 8-10

8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Now, we all know the story of the Tower of Babel. Most of us also know that Babel is another name for Babylon, center of the ancient Babylonian Mysteries, a vile cult which despised God.

In fact, Nimrod was revered as a demigod; following his death, Semiramis deified him as a Sun-God known as Baal. He was also known as Molech. Familiar names?

Molech's cult demanded human sacrifices. In fact, Molech was so offensive to God, that He commanded the stoning of ANY followers of the Molech cult, whether they were Israelite or no!

Leviticus 20:2

Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Jeremiah 32:35

And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
Semiramis had a son out of wedlock, and claimed that he (Tammuz) was born of divine intervention, the rebirth of Nimrod! She claimed him to be the Messiah promised by God! Semiramis then set herself up to be worshipped as the Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, Goddess of Fertility.

Sounding familiar yet? On two levels, even. First, the Wabbit:

The rabbit is well known as a sexual symbol of fertility. In various parts of the world, religions which developed from Babel also associate the rabbit with periodicity, both human and lunar (Egypt, China, etc.). As you may remember, the Mother Goddess Semiramis (Easter) is associated with the Moon. In other words, the Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother Goddess. Annual Spring time fertility rituals are associated worship of the Mother Goddess and Tammuz, the reincarnation of her husband Nimrod. http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-t020.html
Let us not forget the eggs:

. . . [F]rom Egyptian Belief and Modern Thought, James Bonwick, pp. 211-212: “Eggs were hung up in the Egyptian temples. Bunsen calls attention to the mundane egg, the emblem of generative life, proceeding from the mouth of the great god of Egypt. The mystic egg of Babylon, hatching the Venus Ishtar [Semiramis], fell from heaven to the Euphrates. Dyed eggs were sacred Easter offerings in Egypt, as they are still in China and Europe. Easter, or spring, was the season of birth, terrestrial and celestial.” - http://www.thercg.org/books/ttooe.html
The idea of a mystic egg spread from Babylon to many parts of the world. In Rome, the egg was part of the sacred ceremonies of the Mysteries of Bacchus. The Druids used the egg as their sacred emblem. In Northern Europe, China and Japan the eggs were colored for their sacred festivals.

The egg was also a symbol of fertility; Semiramis (Easter) was the goddess of fertility. The Easter egg is a symbol of the pagan Mother Goddess, and it even bears one of her names. http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-t020.html
What of the "Queen of Heaven"? That title has fallen to a new mistress, revered by the Catholic Cult. We'll discuss that another time.

For now: What are you doing to celebrate Christ's Resurrection? Are you celebrating Passover, as God commanded? Or are you taking your children to Satan's Easter Egg hunt at your church?

Will your kids be chomping on chocolate eggs and rabbits tomorrow, taking the Devil's Communion?

Jesus Sighted in UK!

A 52-year-old gentleman named Martin Gregory is the latest to spot Jesus in an unexpected place. In this case, Jesus was hiding in the roots of his asparagus fern.

Gregory says, "It looked so much like His face it took my breath away." He continued, "It has not made me religious. But it could be something supernatural linked to the abbey ruins opposite."

Father David Sherratt, of St Michael and All Angels Church, Abbey Wood Road, Abbey Wood, said: "I have often heard of people seeing things. God may want Mr Gregory to interpret what he saw in the plant as a sign."

Peek-a-boo!

A few other examples of these "sightings", from the article:

  • 1978: Maria Rubio made a burnt tortilla, which resembled the mournful face of Jesus Christ. 8,000 curious pilgrims treked to her house in rural New Mexico to view the sacred icon.

  • 1981: Christ appears, crucified on a garage door in California, caused by reflections from two street lights that had merged with shadows of a bush and a real-estate sign.

  • 1987: Jesus appears on the chimney of a suburban bowling alley in Chicago. The four-foot image is formed from rusting metal.

  • 1989: Thousands flocked to a home in north-east Harris County, Texas, to view a linoleum table top reflecting the image of Jesus.

  • 1991: Jesus made national news as the centerpiece of a Pizza Hut billboard in Atlanta. The image of Jesus' face was found in strands of spaghetti hanging from a fork.

Yes, Jesus (and that Catholic Pagan "Queen of Heaven", Mary) has been sighted in many places. Are these acts of God? Acts of Satan? Or are they tricks of the human mind? What does God's Word tell us?

God tells us that we are not to make and/or worship any graven images.

Leviticus 26:1
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

This is one of dozens of verses specifically condemning idolatry. What do you call it when people make pilgrimages to, say, a fern's rootball or a magic tortilla?

God has a particular punishment in mind for idolators. Paul tells us of it in Romans 1: 22-27.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Indeed, God turned the idolators into homosexuals! Why? That He might have further reason to condemn them to eternal Hellfire.

What, you ask, has all that to do with the fern rootball? Humans tend to recognize patterns in things they see, and project meaning onto them. It's a phenomenon called pareidolia. As David Hume noted,

There is an universal tendency among mankind to conceive all beings like themselves, and to transfer to every object, those qualities, with which they are familiarly acquainted, and of which they are intimately conscious. We find human faces in the moon, armies in the clouds; and by a natural propensity, if not corrected by experience and reflection, ascribe malice or good- will to every thing, that hurts or pleases us. --David Hume*

The mystical tortillas are not messages from God. There is nothing supernatural about a fern rootball that looks like Jesus, any more than a rutabaga that looks like Abraham Lincoln or a peanut that looks remarkably like Jimmy Carter. There is but one message from God, and it's the King James Bible!

Have you read it?

Welcome to The Feelgood Bible!

Feelgood Bible? What's that all about, you ask?

For years, since joining a Bible-believing Charismatic church, I've been increasingly shocked and dismayed by the arrogance of church leaders and nominal Christians everywhere. What do they do?

  • Cherry-pick verses, like John 3:16a, and portray God and Jesus as some sort of free-love hippies.
  • Interpret God's Word, twisting His Truth to mean what they want it to mean.
  • Decide that parts are "out of date" or "for historical purposes only".
Who makes these choices? Pastors Feelgood, not God.

God gave us the Bible as His Complete and Perfect Word. It is not to be added to, nor removed from, nor altered. So doing is a direct disobedience of God's commandment!

When Pastors Feelgood are finished with the Bible, they've usually whittled it down to a pamphlet of happy verses of naive love, and treated the rest as so much toilet paper. That wee pamphlet is the foundation for their "Feelgood Bible".

Pastors Feelgood then elaborate upon the verses they've selected, building up the full "Feelgood Apocrypha"! The "prosperity evangelists" (think Joel Osteen) have developed an extensive Feelgood Apocrypha, writings which draw the reader away from God's core messages and into a Satanic world of greed-for-'God'. Heretical? I sure think so. Don't you?

If this isn't heretical, I don't know what is:

On Larry King Live, the following very disturbing conversation occurred with Larry King and Joel Osteen:

KING: What if you're Jewish or Muslim, you don't accept Christ at all?

OSTEEN: You know, I'm very careful about saying who would and wouldn't go to Heaven. I don't know ...

At this point, even Larry King appears surprised by Osteen’s answer. Then Larry tosses Osteen a "soft-ball" to explain his previous answer. And again Osteen openly denies that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way of salvation.

KING: If you believe you have to believe in Christ? They're wrong, aren't they?

OSTEEN: Well, I don't know if I believe they're wrong. I believe here's what the Bible teaches and from the Christian faith this is what I believe. But I just think that only God will judge a person's heart. I spent a lot of time in India with my father. I don't know all about their religion. But I know they love God. And I don't know. I've
seen their sincerity. So I don't know. I know for me, and what the Bible teaches, I want to have a relationship with Jesus.

[segment removed for brevity - MV]

KING: What about atheists?

OSTEEN: You know what, I'm going to let someone -- I'm going to let God be the judge of who goes to Heaven and Hell. I just -- again, I present the truth, and I say it every week. You know, I believe it's a relationship with Jesus. But you know what? I'm not going to go around telling everybody else if they don't want to believe that that's going to be their choice. God's got to look at your own heart. God's got to look at your heart, and only God knows that. - Quoted from http://www.av1611.org/osteen.html

This is what passes for Christianity today! No wonder faith is as strong in this country as the manufacturing sector!

This blog will explore what the Bible actually says about good, evil, natural disasters, sin, sex, Heaven, Hell, and everything else. Current events will also come into play, helping us see how God's Truth applies to here and now, not just what happened two to six thousand years ago.

I look forward to sharing with you, and some invigorating discussions about the Bible, God's Plans for humanity, and who God and Jesus really are!
